Rib’e Lugá extended: registration eemains open

Willemstad – The registration period for Rib’e Lugá has been extended, allowing eligible persons to continue registering under the program. The new registration deadline will be announced through Rib’e Lugá’s official communication channels.

The extension follows the strong interest in the program and the ongoing need for practical support during the registration process. In recent weeks, many individuals have attended information sessions, registration days, and other outreach activities to ask questions and receive assistance with their registration.

During the extended registration period, eligible persons may continue to register directly through www.ribeluga.cw. No intermediary is required to submit a registration.

In addition, Rib’e Lugá will once again organize registration days at the Admission Office, as well as registration sessions in various neighbourhoods. This will ensure that assistance remains accessible and available closer to the target group. The dates, times, and locations will be announced through Rib’e Lugá’s official communication channels.

Appointments for registration assistance can also be scheduled through the Rib’e Lugá website.

“The strong interest in Rib’e Lugá demonstrates the need for clear information and practical support. By extending the registration period, we aim to give eligible persons additional time to become well informed and complete their registration,” Rib’e Lugá stated.

Rib’e Lugá is a temporary registration and regularization program for undocumented persons residing in Curaçao who, provided they meet the applicable requirements, may qualify for a temporary residence permit. In addition to registration and regularization, the program also contributes to a better understanding of the size, circumstances, and characteristics of this population group. This information is essential for the further development of a future-oriented migration policy for Curaçao.

Rib’e Lugá encourages all eligible persons not to wait until the last moment and to make full use of the extended registration period.
