If you want to do an internship in Curaçao, you must submit an application for a residence permit with the purpose of internship. This application must be submitted regardless of the duration of your internship. After all, as an intern you are in the workplace where you must be able to demonstrate that you are allowed to be there.
An application for renewal can be submitted from 4 months before the expiry date.

After the application has been submitted, the Admission Office has 4 months to take a decision on your application. You must await the decision on a first application abroad. After the decision is ready, it will be e-mailed to you.
If you have received a positive decision, you must make an appointment to receive the residence permit. Click here to make the appointment.
If you have received a negative decision, you then have 6 weeks to submit a notice of objection. The notice of objection must be e-mailed to info@immigrationcur.org.

⁰When paying, the following details of the applicant must be stated as a reference:
¹Depending on the country of birth/recognition/marriage, the birth certificate/deed of recognition/ marriage certificate should be legalized or apostilled. EU-countries are exempted from this.
²If the employer does not fall under Article 1, paragraph a LTU, submit copy valid Declaration Niet van Toepassing/ Declaration Van Rechtswege/ residence permit and copy of valid passport.
³If guarantor (person or is a sole proprietor) is married, the partner should also sign the guarantee declaration and submit a copy of his/her valid ID.
