Tourist

The maximum duration of stay of a tourist depends on the nationality of the tourist.

  1. A Dutch and an American can stay for 6 months as a tourist.
  2. A tourist of the European Union, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Japan can stay for 3 months as a tourist.

A tourist from a country without visa requirements, who wishes to stay longer than 30 days in Curaçao, must apply a tourist extension at the Admission Office, before the expiry of this term. 

The application for a tourist extension can be submitted online at www.immigrationcur.org

When you enter as a tourist, you must show an amount of $1000 per week. Either via credit card and/or debit card.

You must collect a guarantee declaration from Public Affairs, complete it and send it to the person in question, together with a copy of a valid identification document and proof of means of subsistence. The person in question must take the sent documents to the Dutch embassy or consulate to submit his/her application.
